Two of my favorite blogs are hosting a Pinterest inspiration fest! So, I decided to join in. I am inspired by Pinterest almost everyday. Here is one pin I found that inspired me to paint a similar dresser at home. Remember the same paint and technique can be used to paint a piece of furniture for your next vintage affair.
~BEFORE~
This dresser was in my foyer to welcome guests.I really liked the lines on this piece, but it sure could use a face lift!
~AFTER~
First, I used a spray-paint primer in white and later a color calledValley View which appears to be white, but actually looks more like a mint. I spray painted the hardware in silver. The paint is made by Olympic and can be purchased at Lowe's It is an oil-based paint in a semi-gloss finish. I also used sponge brushes to eliminate any brush marks.
